Minnesota AAPI Veterans Association
Our Mission
To serve and honor AAPI Veterans with supportive services for employment, housing, leadership, mentorship, health & mental wellness, benefits, education, culture & history, and business; Proactively strengthen the Veteran community through leadership and collaboration.
Our Vision
Create a supportive AAPI community for US Veterans and Vietnam War SGU veterans who have served our country. We aim to provide supportive services and resources that meet their diverse and unique needs. We also strive to foster a culture of respect, gratitude, and solidarity among veterans and the community.
Our Objective
1- Promote contributions, dignity, unity, and honor the legacy of AAPI veterans of the Secret War in Laos during the Vietnam War and AAPI United States veterans.
2- Provide mental wellness and resiliency support for AAPI veterans.
3- Expand benefits for AAPI veterans of the Secret War in Laos.
4- Provide employment assistance for AAPI US veterans.
5- Establish a facility to conduct social and cultural AAPI veteran functions.
6- Assist Veterans with self-employment small business services.
7- Collaborate with local government, military branches, and organizations.
8- Create a supportive community for all AAPI veterans in MN.
9- Mentorship, leadership, and life coach program
